PATIENCE IN WAITING.........

I think of of the greatest challenges we encounter as humans is that if impatience. Impatience has taken over our daily lives. We are not patient to love and be loved, we are in a hurry to pursue and achieve goals, we are in a hurry to make money,  ( Just check out how we drive in Lagos) we drive as if we are never going to stop.
I just finished watching a movie titled 'In Pursuit of happiness' (One of my old collections i decided to go over), and i just couldn't help but cry towards the end of the movie. ( I think you all should watch the movie over again). Minutes after, different scenes from the movie kept playing in my mind.
The main character in the movie struggled alot. I mean first hand struggle. He was always on the run from the moment the morning alarm goes off till late in the evening. In the midst of his struggle, his wife left him with their 5 year old son, he was thrown out of his apartment, and he could not even get to sell just one of his scan machines for days. He applied and got a job as an intern in a brokerage firm, 6 solid months without pay. Can you beat that? (Please do we not get a job to get paid?).
He would always stay up at night to study for his job, mustering all the efforts he could.
At the end of it all, he conquered. He became really successful at his job. And this got me thinking for a long time, and i thought to myself, how much am i willing to sacrifice? When push comes to a shove, what do i do?, and at what point exactly is enough to stop trying and give up?
If you have a dream, a goal, or vision, run with it. Even in the face of uncertainty, patiently go with it, ask God to come through for you, and wait till you accomplish it.
